The Rivalry
Famous rivalries are as old as time, like the Hatfield and McCoys or the Giants and Dodgers. Just to our North, we have one of the most distinguished rivalries between two neighboring regions, both much lauded for their distinctive, world-class wines. We are talking about the long-running, though friendly, rivalry between Napa and Sonoma wineries.

The Challenge
At the third annual Napa vs. Sonoma Showdown, you will have the unique opportunity to try over 150 wines to help you decide your preference. Thirty of the best wineries in the state will be pitted against each other with you as the final judge. Make your voice known on March 14th – do you lean Napa or Sonoma?

The Wines
Thirty of the finest Napa and Sonoma wineries will be on hand to meet this challenge with great gusto – and amazing wines. You will sample the legendary cabernet sauvignon's of Napa Valley and the equally praised Sonoma pinot noir's from the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. Perhaps each region has a respective advantage with those two varietals, but when it comes to chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, syrah and zinfandel it may just be too close to call. Again, that’s where you come in.
